Larry Thompson holds a degree in Business Administration with a major in management and a minor in economics from Ohio University. He holds a Series 65 Investment Adviser certification and has 13 years experience developing and assisting with equity investments for clients. Thompson previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Heartland Agdeavor Inc, the parent company of Agdeavor Investments, since 2001. He was responsible for finding and developing sound private equity investment opportunities for Heartland constituents.
Mr. Thompson has spent nearly 30 years working in the food and fiber industry focusing on investment opportunities. Much of that career was working with agricultural businesses in Ohio, Indiana and Michigan in food production, business management, development and operations.
Larry has also worked internationally doing business development projects and consulting in the food and fiber industry in Africa, Europe and especially the former States of the Soviet Union. (Russia, Ukraine). He holds the Investment Advisor designation for Agdeavor Investments and serves as the company's CEO.
